Peter Causton
An experienced civil practitioner: advocate, adviser and mediator.
Peter Causton was called to the Bar in October 1995 and is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He has substantial experience both as a barrister and, previously, as a solicitor, and brings that combined perspective to the conduct of civil disputes.
His practice is a broad civil one, encompassing advocacy, advice and drafting. He appears at trials and final hearings, interim applications and case management hearings, and advises on liability, quantum, case strategy and settlement. He also has substantial experience of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, acting both as mediator and as advocate at mediation.
Peter practises through Chambers of Peter Causton, which is his sole practice. He also practises from 7 Harrington Street Chambers and Whitestone Chambers. Those are separate chambers and are not part of Chambers of Peter Causton.
